This is the very final of our end product. These images explain the effect of the construction and people in the background. The point of positioning the sound detective machine hear is because we needed to see different visual effects on how the it'll operate with varieties of sound wave effects. Having heavy machinery and people and cars passing by enhances our product to operate with the sound waves that forks on the computer (laptop) As the heavier vehicles drive past, the effects of the waves on the max program operates with larger forks and works with less (smaller) forks if they are either far away or no even moving.
This is our final product that my group have completed. We struggled on communicating our ideas together to create a final design but in the end we fully completed the machine that detects sound waves or on-frequency around Auckland City. The design has come out exactly the we expected it to be. I had some up and down situations with fitting the last panel on one of the pots. The heat had warped the entire part which this had limited us on being able to connect each of the remainder of the panels. We still managed to weld all the parts together in the end. I, being the fabricator, I started of by building the bowl and 100mm down pipe fixed to the bowl and sealing it to the pipe. Completing the pipe and bowl (the part that is located into the centre of the machine) I welded all the panels to the sides and then fixed them all together to be into two separate components. I then welded the leaf flaps that will hold the two large components on to each other. This will secure the project into one complete part. In order to have the pipe fixed to the bottom half of the machine, We conducted a spring acted holder ( holder) that will hold the pipe to the machine. To finish the last of the project, I added four handles that will make it heaps more easier for us individuals to carry this tank Added with all the other components to the project, we cut the last piece which is the ply wood to be added to the top half of the tank. We cut two separate parts, one that will support the computer laptop and the other with two rectangular cuts in it to slot the lap tops monitor and the other to support the speakers that will run the sound product. To end the produced machine We painted the second piece of the ply wood so that it'll sit in contrast with the steal. We contemplated on painting the entire machine but we were limited on our budget and didn't have sufficient amount of time to fully complete the machine. Overall i fully enjoyed this assignment buy me having being the fabricator of the group. This is our final product. ENJOY!!!
